Design Rooted in Research and Emotion
The LAJOS letter opener began with a question: how can an everyday object quietly carry meaning? Drawing from psychological and social cognition studies, we explored how form and memory intersect—how users resonate with curves, weights, and gestures. The result is a tool refined through both data and empathy, designed not only to perform, but to connect.
From Meaning to Making
More than a functional item, the letter opener becomes a carrier of thought—an extension of the giver’s intent and the recipient’s identity. Each variation reflects personal passion or profession, offering emotional relevance in every curve.
