Inspired by the philosophy of "constant inner nature," this diffuser features a reflective surface and hollow center, blending seamlessly into any environment. Its design draws inspiration from traditional Chinese vases and vintage French perfume bottles, utilizing natural volcanic stone for scent diffusion.

Design Exploration

The project began with a search for the ideal fragrance vessel, drawing inspiration from the elegance of Chinese vases. Through iterative sketches and material exploration, volcanic stone emerged as the perfect medium—naturally porous and texturally rich, ideal for diffusing scent. The design journey focused on balancing form, function, and cost, resulting in a sculptural object grounded in both utility and refinement.

Cultural Balance in Form

By blending Eastern fluidity with Western minimalism, the diffuser embodies a quiet harmony. Its graceful silhouette echoes traditional forms while embracing a contemporary material sensibility. More than an aromatic object, it invites tactile engagement and visual calm—an understated statement of cultural and environmental resonance.
